Not sure how it does with flying, but it meets our everyday needs when it comes to transporting our son safely and comfortably. We love this car seat so much we purchased a second one. We love this carseat! It protects my 2.5 year old and I can swivel her around, no more awkward positions while buckling and unbuckling! It is the only seat you need and the only one you will wish you had purchased!! It is easily adjustable from my 9 month old grandbaby to my 3 year old grandbaby. The turn feature is so convenient getting them in and out, especially in taller vehicles. This is the must have car seat !!
